Iowa Tour Guide Scholarship

Iowa Tour Guide Scholarship

At The Zebra, we know better than most just what a pain buying car insurance can be. We also know that students suffer from higher-than-average policy rates. Talk about a double-whammy. That's why, this year, we've decided to continue The Zebra's annual scholarship with the goal of helping to alleviate the financial pressures of college-bound students in the Iowa area, while also getting an insider view of the Hawkeye State. https://www.thezebra.com/iowa-car-insurance/#driving-laws

Prompt

So, students, we want to see your favorite road trip destination(s) in your state— from your unique perspective. If it makes sense to hit the open road and be our virtual tour guide, that's great! But there are no limits to what we're looking for: a narrated animation, a slideshow of memorabilia, an illustrated map of the best roadside attractions on the way. This is a chance for you to showcase any place you love in as an original way as possible.

How do I choose a location?

The length of the road trip to your feature destination is inconsequential. So if you have an awesome spot in mind that's just two miles from home, we want to see it.

Iowa Tuition Grant for people pursuing private Iowa colleges/univesities

See if You or Your Student Qualifies for the Iowa Tuition Grant!

The Iowa Tuition Grant helps students attend the college of their choice with up to $5,650 of annual support.

Many students are not aware of the higher education opportunities that are available to them. The Iowa Tuition Grant can make attending an Iowa Private college or university more affordable than a public institution, creating more options for students to find the best fit for them after high school.

See How the Iowa Tuition Grant Has Helped Students

"The Iowa Tuition Grant is extremely important because it provides a substantial award to me, which allows me to pursue my education. As a student who comes from a family without a ton of money, that really helps out in funding my college experience, and taking some of that load off of me and my parents as well."
C.J. Nelson
"When I was comparing private colleges versus public institutions, obviously the Tuition Grant factored in there. And we knew that we could get it if I went to a private school. So actually when I picked my private college, with the Iowa Tuition Grant, that made it cheaper than going to a state school."
Cory Brannaman
